Weekend has gone to the dogs!

My daughter is raising a yellow lab puppy that will someday be a guide dog for The Seeing Eye school for blind or visually impared people. Well, this weekend we are helping out another puppy raising family by sitting for their dog while they are out of town. Last night was just a bit crazy until all the initial welcome sniffing was done. Our greyhound really didn't want any part of this plan and thought it was necessary to sleep on our bed to stay away from any potential interuption to his sleep. Even though we have a king size bed, there is no room for a greyhound if any sleep is to be had. Needless to say, I am looking for an IV drip to hook up the caffeine needed to get through the day. TGIF!!
